Dr. Don Connell graduated from Berry College in Rome, Georgia with his Bachelors of Arts in Chemistry in 1972. He obtained his Doctorate of Medicine Degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia in 1978. Dr. Connell served his internship and residency Program at Memorial Health University in Savannah, Georgia completing them in 1982. Among Dr. Connell’s professional affiliations are Radiology Associates of Savannah, Georgia, Statesboro Radiology Associates in Statesboro, Georgia, & Statesboro Imaging Center. Statesboro Imaging Center in Statesboro, Georgia was designed and built by Dr. Connell, where he practiced for 21 years. The center encompassed 12,000 square feet and housed all imaging modalities. It was the largest individually owned center in North America at that time. After retiring from the imaging center, Dr. Don Connell joined South Georgia Radiology Associates in 2013. Dr. Connell recently received a proclamation/commendation from the Georgia State Senate for his long time work in Patient advocacy in the State Legislature.
