Billing Information for Radiologist’s Services

Radiology exams you receive at any partner hospitals are read by South Georgia Radiology Associates, L.L.C. (SGRA). The reading services provided by SGRA are billed separately from the hospital’s bill. SGRA’s billing office address is P.O. Box 1067, Statesboro, Georgia, 30459. The toll-free phone number is 888-760-2455. Billing representatives are available Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM.

SGRA’s billing office receives your insurance data from the hospital. We will bill your insurance company for the professional services. Once your insurance company responds, you will receive a statement for any balance due.

If SGRA does not participate with your insurance carrier, your claim will most likely be processed as an out-of-network claim. Many insurance plans have provisions to cover professional services rendered by out-of-network Radiologists in connection with services received at a hospital. You are encouraged to contact your insurance company to discuss these provisions by calling the benefits telephone number on your insurance card. Our billing office is also available to assist you with questions regarding how your insurance company processed your claim.

If you have applied and are approved as “indigent” by this hospital, you will receive written notification from the hospital. The hospital is covered by an indigent care trust fund; however, SGRA is not. If you send a copy of your approval letter from the hospital to the SGRA billing office and you have no insurance coverage, your account will be reviewed for an indigent discount. If SGRA grants a discount, your account will be adjusted and you will receive an updated statement.

SGRA accepts checks, money orders, VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Checks and money orders should be made payable to South Georgia Radiology Associates and mailed to South Georgia Radiology Associates, P.O. Box 1067, Statesboro, Georgia, 30459. Credit card payments may be made over the phone by calling our billing office at 888-760-2455 Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM.
